Nachtrag Checkliste NRW

Supplement to the checklist of centipedes and millipedes (Myriapoda: Chilopoda, Diplopoda) of North Rhine-Westphalia. After the first checklist of centipedes and millipedes of North Rhine-Westphalia (DECKER & HANNIG 2011) a supplement was necessary due to new investigations, additional literature sources, collection data and revision. 123 species of Myriapoda are currently known from North Rhine-Westphalia (Chilopoda: 41; Diplopoda: 63; Pauropoda: 9; Symphyla: 9). In this supplement comments on 19 zoogeographically interesting species are provided. Polydesmus coriaceus Porat, 1871 was recorded for the first time in Germany from two agricultural sites near Aachen. Leptoiulus simplex glacialis (VERHOEFF, 1908) was recorded for the first time in North Rhine-Westphalia in the Eifel region and a distribution map is given for Germany and neighbouring countries. Leptoiulus bertkaui (VERHOEFF, 1896) was recorded after 100 years at two localities in Bonn. An updated distribution map of the former subspecies Geophilus ribauti BRÖLEMANN, 1908, recently splitted from Geophilus truncorum Bergsøe & Meinert, 1866, is provided for both species for North Rhine-Westphalia. New records for rare species are given for: Lithobius lapidicola MEINERT, 1872, Lithobius pelidnus H AASE, 1880, Lithobius nodulipes L ATZEL, 1880, Scolopendra cingulata L ATREILLE, 1829, Glomeris tetrasticha BRANDT, 1833, Enantiulus nanus (LATZEL, 1884), Leptoiulus kervillei (BRÖLEMANN, 1896), Leptoiulus proximus (NEMEC, 1896), Nanogona polydesmoides (LEACH, 1815), Propolydesmus germanicus (VERHOEFF, 1896), Poratia digitata (PORAT, 1889). In addition a checklist of the Symphyla and Pauropoda in North Rhine-Westphalia is presented.
