Abstract:

A genus of flower flies, which is endemic to south-east Asia, is renamed Eosmallota Thompson, Wyatt & Mengual, new name for Klossia Curran, 1931. The one included species, E. singularis (Walker, 1857) comb. n., is diagnosed, illustrated and lectotype designated.
