Field of work

During my PhD project I focus on the freshwater fauna – fishes and macroinvertebrates – of the River Sieg (Germany) to evaluate potential advantages in taxa detection, taxonomic resolution and sample processing time when DNA barcoding approaches supplement stream monitoring routines.
