8th Int. Symposium on Syrphidae - 2015

Dear Fellow Dipterists and Friends,

 

We cordially invite you to attend the 8th International Symposium on Syrphidae (ISS8). In this occasion, the ISS8 will take place in the heart of Europe, in the historic town of Monschau (Germany) from 4 th to 8 th of June 2015. After the great time we had in Novosibirsk (Russia), the people voted to have a symposium which reflects a look back to the original model of this symposium: the engagement that stimulates new research collaborations and the delight of sharing experiences on Syrphidae.

With this in mind, the Organizing Committee searched for a venue where besides convenience, participants can share ideas with others, to keep contact with collaborators, to know at first-hand about new research results on Syrphidae, and to argue about the future of this discipline.

 
We invite you to attend the ISS8 and contribute to the scientific program by presenting your research. Come and meet colleagues, get informed, exchange ideas, and have fun!
