Women's network

The  women's network was originally founded to improve networking of female scientists and to offer a platform for exchange. Meanwhile, the network consists of employees from almost all departments and work fields who regularly exchange about general and specific concerns of female employees.

Among other things, we compile information on workshops, funding programs and other offers for female students and scientists, and are available as contact persons for female trainees. Since 2019 the women's network has resumed responsibility for awarding and mentoring of the Margarethe Koenig Award.

Current topics and projects

  • Designing and furnishing a parent-child room Eltern-Kind-Zimmers (finished)
  • Awarding and mentoring of the Margarethe Koenig-Award
  • Improving of working conditions to meet the goals of a family-friendly institution

Regular Meetings

The women's network meets once a month. Furthermore, defined working groups deal with specific topics and questions.
