Ichthyological Library

The library of the ichthyology section holds several thousand books, and about hundred journal titles. It comprises ichthyological standard literature, and covers a wide array in the field of fish systematics. The "classical" ichthyology books are complemented by a collection of aquaristic books and journals, that add information on practical fish keeping, behaviour, and various aspects of fish biology. Notaly, the fish library recently received the comprehensive relief of Dr. Rüdiger Riehl.

The fish library is housed in the ichthyology section, and can be used on agreement.
