The Leibniz Institute for the Analysis of Biodiversity Change, Museum Koenig Bonn is one of the largest natural-history-research museums in Germany. The museum has earned its reputation as a leader in the documentation, research, and interpretation of biodiversity.

The Museum Koenig maintains around 80 permanent positions (ca. 40 of which are held by researchers), as well as over 150 additional staff members.

Work at the LIB, Museum Koenig Bonn

The museum commits itself in the education of students and trainees.In cooperation with the university of Bonn students are trained in organismic biology and evolution. The library and its archives join in supporting the work of the museum.
