Field of work

Since october 2013 I am working as a research assistant for the GBOL project of the molecular biodiversity research group. Within this project my remit is the identification, sorting and photographing of each collected specimen.

Research interests

My research interests are ecology, ethology, and animal nutrition with an emphasis on feeding-ecology.

Invasion Biology of Xenopus

The INVAXEN project is an integrated approach investigating the African Clawed Frogs' ecology, physiology, invasive potential and dispersal patterns across Belgium, France and Portugal.

GBOL- German Barcode of Life

"German Barcode of Life" ( GBOL ) is a project sponsored by the BMBF and includes the creation of inventories for the gentic characterization of the animals, fungi and plants of germany, using DNA-Barcodes.
