Research interests

All-round biologist with a keen interest in Lepidoptera and their evolutionary path. I have been developing skills in systematics, biogeography, phylogenetics and conservation towards better understanding species' distribution and how these came to be, in space and time. This has taken me to multiple settings and know biodiversity up-closely and personal, and to establish synergies with researchers across the globe.

I complement my research with nature photography and outreach activities, in an effort to spread an appreciation for butterflies, moths and whichever animals and plants they share the world with.
