Field of work

I am the project coordinator of GBOL III: Dark Taxa, and have been working for the German Barcode of Life project (GBOL) project since 2014 and thus have 1st hand knowledge of the workflows and project partners. Since the beginning of 2019 I coordinate the GBOL consortium as the successor of Dr. Matthias Geiger.

Well-trained mammalogist, my main research focus so far are ecological niches and niche partitioning patterns of bovids in the southern central Africa. I am involved in nature conservation in Zambia and member of the IUCN SSC Antelope Specialist Group.
