Visitor and educational research

The Visitor and Education Research Department of the Leibniz Institute for the Analysis of Biodiversity Change (LIB), Museum Koenig Bonn, founded in April 2021, endeavours to continuously incorporate the interests, perspectives, needs and requirements of our visitors into the daily work and strategic development of the LIB.

Our work is based on evaluations, visitor and educational research. Our aim is to continuously improve our visitors' experience based on evidence and to ensure that our museum's exhibitions, offers and programmes benefit a broad audience.

We are the interface between the museum and our audience and bring both perspectives together. We are the ear, eye and heart for the needs and requirements of our visitors. Together with the Education & Outreach and Exhibition departments, we advocate a holistic approach to visitor orientation.
