Sponsoring
You want to show the public that your company is thinking about more than returns or dividends,
You want to attract new customers through sponsorship,
You want to improve your image,
You have achieved a lot in your life and want to share it with young people,
You care about the diversity of life on our "blue planet". You want this diversity to be valued and preserved.
Our planet's rainforests are disappearing and with them the most species-rich habitats. You would like to help raise awareness of this and therefore support the rainforest exhibition at Museum Koenig. If thoughts like these move you - please contact us!
We have made it our mission:
- Promotion and support of the Zoological Research Museum Alexander Koenig (ZFMK)
- To inspire people of all ages for nature and biology, especially children and young people
- To be a hub for the transfer of knowledge from science and research to society
- Maintaining the diverse history of the Museum Koenig, one of the largest natural history museums in Europe, also as a national task.
We work on a voluntary basis and pursue exclusively charitable and scientific aims.
We are happy to provide additional information and are available for discussions.
Cash allocations
The Alexander Koenig Society (AKG) is grateful for donations from fines/money spent.
According to its statutes, the AKG pursues "exclusively and directly non-profit scientific purposes". It serves "the Koenig Zoological Research Museum (ZFMK) by offering educational opportunities in the natural sciences and in the field of nature conservation and by raising funds".
This statutory mission is brought to life through a wide range of association activities, which can be found on the homepage and in the programme flyer. Particularly noteworthy are learning programmes for children and young people from primary and secondary schools through to grammar schools ("Natur beflügelt"). Older people are addressed in the sense of citizen science through natural history and science programmes.
