About the museum

The Museum Koenig Bonn has been a well-known institution for over 90 years. Together with the Museum der Natur Hamburg, it is part of the Leibniz Institute for the Analysis of Biodiversity Change and thus one of the eight major research museums of the Leibniz Association. Visitors are familiar with the permanent exhibitions. However, behind the doors of the exhibition, many scientists are researching biodiversity and the interrelationships in ecosystems in order to use their findings to advance nature conservation.
