Highlights of nature photography

The "Highlights of Nature Photography" were sought for the 21st time. This year, 18,633 images were submitted by photographers from 40 countries. The result is impressive proof of the high reputation of the Glanzlichter and clearly demonstrates the high regard in which the nature photography competition has been held both nationally and internationally for many years.

Photographers have had the opportunity to submit their pictures since August. Svenja Schulze, the new Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, has once again taken over the patronage of this year's Glanzlichter. The award with the patronage of the "German Association for Photography" is also a tribute to the high Glanzlichter standard. The Glanzlichter sponsors from the photography industry provide the prizes totalling € 28,000.
