The aim of the museum curriculum is to enable every pupil to visit four museums in four years of primary school. The museums provide materials for preparation and follow-up. Each visit is recorded in a museum pass. The Bonn Regional Education Office supports the project.
In the Bonn museum curriculum at Museum Koenig, nature and scientific research can be experienced, learnt and understood.

Class 1: Treasure hunt in the museum
We playfully get to know the tasks of the research museum and design a plaster cast of a fire salamander in the creative part.

Class 2: Everything to do with eggs
We take a look behind the scenes and visit the Research Museum's bird collection. Afterwards we will create our own egg collection.
Class 3: Under the magnifying glass
Precise observation is one of the most important skills of a natural scientist. We microscope and draw with scientific precision.

Class 4: What is a diorama?
We take a closer look at the habitat dioramas in the exhibition and make our own diorama in the creative part.
