The platform was created as part of the "Museum Koenig #digital" project with the aim of offering interactive teaching and learning opportunities in the spirit of ESD (Education for Sustainable Development). Through digital nature experiences, it makes it possible to experience in a completely new way how people and nature are connected - from the comfort of the classroom or from home.

Interactive Expeditions: NEO offers exciting journeys - first to the African savannah. Choose between various short expeditions or combine them into a longer learning unit. Whether natural sciences, geography, social sciences or interdisciplinary projects - NEO offers something for every need.
NEO fantasy world: Let your pupils design their own fantasy animals with a profile. Children and young people can give free rein to their creativity and at the same time expand their knowledge of animals, their characteristics and habitats. We present the most unusual animals on NEO.
Multimedia resources: Use our extensive collection of games, materials and multimedia offers on topics such as "Biodiversity - and what it has to do with me" and "The Museum Koenig - a place full of discoveries" to enrich your lessons or museum visit.

Would you like to take part in a guided tour but can't visit us on site? No problem. In interactive online tours, we provide exciting insights into our exhibitions and behind the scenes. You can also discover our collections and other rooms of the museum that are not normally accessible.
