One world. Your health!

  • Runtime

    14.11.2024 - 26.10.2025

  • Location

    2nd upper floor

  • Type of exhibition

    Special exhibition

According to the World Health Organisation, climate change, species extinction, non-communicable diseases, infectious diseases and antibiotic resistance are the greatest challenges to our health. These health crises are man-made and directly linked to our lifestyles.

The exhibition highlights the direct link between our lifestyle, our health and the environment. In a stylised supermarket setting, the exhibition invites teenagers and young adults in particular to question everyday consumer decisions: What impact do our eating habits have on the climate, biodiversity and, in particular, on our own health? How does our lifestyle contribute to the emergence of pandemics and environmental destruction? What can we do as individuals - and as a society - to overcome these challenges?

Using an interactive web app, you can playfully do your weekly shopping and determine your individual "food type". You also receive feedback on your lifestyle with tips for a healthier and more environmentally friendly way of life. The exhibition not only imparts knowledge, but also provides concrete suggestions on how everyone can make their own and our common future more sustainable and healthier through small changes in everyday life. It is a call to take responsibility for your own lifestyle - for a healthier future for people and the environment!
