Climate change emergency

Influences on our health and what we can do

The effects of man-made climate change represent one of the greatest global health threats. How exactly does heat affect the human body? Why do the global consequences of drought, flooding and rising sea levels also affect us here in Germany? And what positive effects does a sustainable lifestyle have on our health?

There will be time for questions and discussion after the lecture.

Health For Future is committed to climate justice as the basis for a healthy life worth living. As representatives of the healthcare system, we already encounter people who are ill as a result of climate change on a daily basis. We see it as our task to inform people about the connections and thereby raise awareness of the effects of climate change on our health.

Naemi Tichelmann is a member of Health for Future Bonn and a doctor in training at Bonn University Hospital.
