Exciting exhibits, researcher`s equipment and many things to try and experiment with – all this will be part of the museum bus which will be on the road in Bonn and it`s neighbourhood.

With the program "Culture empowers" the Federal Ministry of Education and Research supports projects with a cultural education background. The Museum Koenig works with a wide variety of cooperation partners.

Leibniz-Taxonomy-Workshop [10]

Museum educators, internal and external experts explain the taxonomy of plants, animals and fungi to children and adolescents. Awarded as Project UN-Decade Biodiversity 2020 and was invited to present itself at the Week of Environment 2020 in Berlin. More information in german.

Nature connects people [11]

Experiencing nature together connects people. Nature fascinates everyone, no matter which age or culture. This projects invites children and their mothers from families with a migration background to explore the museum as a cultural place for learning.

Natur beflügelt! [12]

"NATUR beflügelt" is a cooperation project between the Alexander-Koenig-Society and the Museum Koenig addressed to children and teenagers who are especially interested in science.

This joint project of the Deutsche Telekom Stiftung, the University of Bonn, the Deutsches Museum Bonn and the Museum Koenig offers children the possibility to work scientifically and explore several topics.
