Moths
We are delighted that Marie-Luise Hülsmann and Hans Georg Classen have taken on a sponsorship for the second time!
Dactyloceras lucina is a moth from the Brahmaeidae family. This moth has a wingspan of 17 cm. It lives nocturnally and is very well camouflaged due to its markings and colour. As a special feature, the moths have no mouthparts and therefore only live for a few days, which they use for mating and laying eggs.
