Noble butterfly

Blue-spotted Charaxes is the name given to the velvety blue butterfly with the blue spots. Only the males have the colouring that gives them their name, while the females are dark brown in colour. The butterflies from the Nymphalidae family can be found both in the rainforest and in drier areas of West Africa. Their wingspan can be up to 8 cm.
