Banded half-fingered gecko

We are delighted that the Orfgen family has taken on the sponsorship of the two half-fingered geckos. Congratulations!

These beautifully patterned half-fingered geckos from the rainforests of West Africa and the Congo Basin live high in the treetops during the day and are therefore rarely seen.

However, these animals often come down to the forest floor at night to search for food. While many of its relatives have adapted to human settlements and have then been transported to distant areas or even continents by ship and other transport, Hemidactylus fasciatus avoids the human environment and has therefore remained native to West and Central Africa.

The sponsorship fee is 300 euros per specimen.
