A number of exhibits are used to discuss the special characteristics and lifestyles of native animal species. In particular, the museum's dioramas are used so that the pupils can recognise the animals' adaptations to their habitat largely independently. By arrangement, the groups can also be given the opportunity to discuss specially selected animal species or themed tours, such as animals of the forest, animals in winter, animals in the city, mammals on land, in the water and in the air.
